Martha Stewart- Watercolor and colored pencil

For this illustration project, I chose Martha. This was shortly after her conviction and while she was serving time. I found irony in the mink, vs. what she was wearing at this time which I'm guessing was one of the finest jumpsuits you can get behind bars. I love capturing skin texture and expression with light and contrasting colors. I could paint faces ALL DAY!
